You're lucky your parents value you only on your relationships. My dad only values me for my ability to make money. And since I'm an unemployed artist, I'm not too valued.
At least my mom values my ability to marry and procreate. Alas, I've not been able to satisfy her in the last 38 years in that regard. So be glad your mom's happy if you're happy.
And of course you're having fun, you've got a great dress and a cute bartender hitting on you.
I'm just like you. Except the bartender usually hitting on me is also a guy, and I'd prefer it if he weren't...a guy.
